Probably in case a crash happens the emergency vehicles cannot get there because of the road condition. That's my guess.

Hope its all ok with Araújo. The whole rally is giving WRC Portugal 2001 vibes. There are better places in Portugal to run a gravel rally at this time of the year, or if you want to stick it around...
