QRaken Navigational Scatter - May 28, 2023
An event promoted by Chelmsford MC. A Scatter breaks the norm of a fixed route with timing, to an open route between check points without timing, well, other than 5 hours to complete this daylight "find the QR codes" exercise. You’ll be searching within a 7-mile semi-circle to the east of Great Leighs (north of Chelmsford).
Great family/social fun with just map reference navigation. Your entry includes refreshments at the start and a buffet at the finish.
You’ll need a smart phone or tablet to scan the hidden QR Codes, and you can then do the event in “traditional” mode – map 167, romer, pencil; or “digital” mode – let an app do all the admin for you. Choose whichever you’re most comfortable with. There’s a demo version of the app available (in Format below), so you can practice before the event.
Reserve the date NOW. At your leisure head to https://qraken.ity.me.uk where you’ll find a Flyer, Regs, Format, Entry Form and Entry List.
This is billed as a "Taster" event so you don't have to be a member of the the organising club.\"Crow\"
