    Is the new truck pulling an icebox so with the help of a regression hypnotherapist, the ford team can make Hirvonen think he is driving in Sweden ?

    or does the container have ice baths for the crews ?

    Thanks for sharing these pics! Does it mean that Laajavuori stage will be run on tarmac and not on gravel?

    No, only the beginning of the stage (uphill section) is on tarmac, just like last year. The rest is gravel.

    "The Ford team will unveil a new two-floor team headquarters. The ground floor contains a large open area for guests, a kitchen and toilets. The first floor has four meeting rooms, a physiotherapists' room, two offices for engineering staff and a centre area for team personnel. The HQ has 14 TV screens across all areas, showing stage times, maps and promotional information. It will take a team of 24 staff four days to erect the facility and two days to take it down again."

    After being beaten 6-0 on gravel this year, good to know that Ford is focusing on the most crucial of things, like the kitchen.

    Yep, if the French beat them outright on these roads as well, a well-prepared comfort food is indeed in place after the rally. Nice concept. Good thinking, boys.
